Farrah Fawcett

  Farrah Leni Fawcettwas born Ferrah Leni Fwcett, on February 2, 1947, and died on June 25 in 2009. She was an American actress. Fawcett was an eight-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee as in addition to an eight-time Golden Globe Award nominated actress. Her fame in the world began with her appearance in the debut season of the television show Charlie's Angels.



 



 Fawcett began her career in the 1960swhen she appeared in commercials and guest roles on TV. She was a part of a range of TV shows in the 1970s alongside Lee Majors, her husband, who was a television and film actor. Six million copies of her famous red swimsuit advertising poster were sold during the first year. Her most famous role was of Jill Munroe, a private investigator in Charlie's Angels. Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson also starred in the show. The three actresses all rose to fame in the show. Fawcett quit Charlie's Angels after appearing in the premiere season of the show in the year 1976. Then, she appeared as an actor in six episodes of the show's third and fourth seasons (1978-1980). Fawcett received nominations for her performance in Charlie's Angels.
